Privacy Policy

This policy exists for you to decide, not us. We explain here, in a straightforward way, what data we collect, what it’s used for, and how you can access, correct, or request that we delete it..

What data do we collect?

When you shop at CLUM, we ask for your name, email, address, phone number and, if you want an invoice with a tax identification number, your NIF (tax identification number). The website also records some technical browsing data, including analytical cookies (Google Analytics) and marketing cookies (Meta Ads) — we explain this in detail in our Cookie Policy.

We don’t collect more than this. For now, you don’t need to create an account to buy from CLUM — purchases are always made as a guest — and we don’t have a newsletter or store your data in any system beyond what is necessary to process your order and issue the invoice. If we ever introduce customer accounts or a newsletter, we will update this text to explain it.

Where does your data come from?

Your data always comes directly from you: from what you fill out at checkout, or from what you write to us by email or WhatsApp. The website also automatically collects some technical data through cookies (see Cookie Policy), and our service providers (such as the shipping company or payment processor) may provide us with information about the status of your order or your payment.

What do we use your data for?
• Process and ship your order.
• To communicate with you regarding this order (confirmations, questions, returns).
Issuing an invoice is a legal obligation, not our choice.

We do not use your data for marketing. If we ever introduce a newsletter or email campaign, we will ask for your explicit consent at that time, and you can always refuse.

Who do we share your data with?

We only share what is strictly necessary for your order to reach you, with:

• UPS, to deliver the package.
• Mollie, to process the payment securely.
• Moloni, to issue the invoice, as required by law.
• Google, through Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram), through Meta Ads, for our ads.

We do not sell or share your data with anyone else, for any other purpose. Your data is processed within the European Union.

How long do we keep your data?
• Billing data: 10 years, as required by tax law.
• Order details and communication with you: for the duration of the commercial relationship and the legal warranty period (3 years after purchase).
• Browsing data (cookies): see the retention periods in the Cookie Policy.

Children’s data?

CLUM clothes children, but those who purchase, complete the checkout, and contact us are always the parents or guardians — the website is not aimed at children nor does it collect their data directly. If, by mistake, we receive any personal data of a child, the parents or guardians can request its deletion at any time by writing to geral@clumbrand.com.

Your rights?

You can, at any time:

• Access the data we have about you.
• Request the correction of incorrect or outdated data.
• Request the deletion of your data, within the limits permitted by law (for example, we cannot delete billing data before the legal deadline).
• Oppose treatment or request its limitation.
• Request the portability of your data to another entity.
• Withdraw consent when the treatment is based on it.

For any of these requests, write to geral@clumbrand.com. If you feel that we have not resolved your issue satisfactorily, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt.

Security?

Payment is processed by Mollie using SSL encryption. We do not store any credit or debit card information on our servers—this data is handled directly by Mollie. Access to your data within CLUM is limited to those who need it to process your order.

Who handles your data?

Your personal data is processed by CLUM Brand, Lda., NIPC 519371194, with registered office at Rua Padre Adão Salgado, n.º 89, 4770-218 Joane, Portugal. For any questions regarding privacy, please write to geral@clumbrand.com.

Any changes to this policy?

We may update this text whenever our operations change. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update.
